Women's Football in Canada is a relatively new concept. The success of the Calgary Kookaburras has shown that the concept (very popular in Australia) can succeed in Canada. The Ottawa Swans welcome any women interested in playing the game in a modified format. At present the Quebec Angels and Ottawa Swans women play in a combined team against one other team from the Toronto area. In the interests of expanding the competition, especially in Ottawa, the Swans call on all women over the age of 18 interested to contact the Swans coaching staff. |
