2023 Best & Fairest Awards Ceremony

The 4th of November marked the final event on the Ottawa Swans players calendar.

The Swans 2023 Best & Fairest awards ceremony saw the best players on both the women’s and men’s side get recognised for their efforts throughout the 2023 campaign.

The votes on both sides were very close with Caroline Leduc finishing the race for the Chris Lockhart’s Best and Fairest, with 13 votes, 1 vote ahead of Briana Fayad with 12 and Filssan Houssein rounding up the top 3 with 11 votes.

On the men’s side James Clock was the eventual winner rounding up his best season yet for the Swans with 21 votes. Riley Turpin, the AFL Ontario’s Best Canadian player finishing second with 17 votes and Joshua LaPorta coming in third place with 15 votes.

Brendan Boucher was the winner of the prestigious Kaduck-Dalla Rosa Volunteer of the Year award.
