In May 2025 the Swans AFLO Season began in Toronto. For the Women’s+ side, 2025 represented a chance to go back to back in the AFLO – something they have never accomplished previously. With a significant part of the 2024 Premiership team returning, the window remains open for them to become the first Women’s+ team to repeat since 2017-18. They went undefeated during the season and finished 1st on the ladder. They have a first round bye, and will play the losing team in the High Park Demons vs. Hamilton Wildcats game in the 2nd Round. That game will take place in Ottawa on Saturday 13th, and the winner plays for in the Grand Final in Toronto the following weekend.

The Men’s side continued to show signs of growth with their highest finish since 2022, with a well deserved 3rd place finish. That spot on the ladder was extremely advantageous to the Swans, as it meant a home field final in the opening round of Finals. While a home game is nice, it of course does not come with any guarantees. The Swans will play the Toronto Eagles on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at 1:30pm at Manotick Polo Park. It is really the first meeting of the teams this season after the game earlier this season was called off. The teams finished close on the ladder, and thus this game promises to be close contest. Winner moves on to the second round for a chance to play in the Grand Final.
